About the Show
The Giver is a thought-provoking stage adaptation of Lois Lowry’s beloved novel. Set in a seemingly perfect society where pain, choice, and emotion have been eliminated, the story follows twelve-year-old Jonas as he is chosen to receive the community’s memories of the past.
Under the guidance of The Giver, Jonas discovers the beauty—and the cost—of a world without freedom. As truth replaces obedience, Jonas must decide whether to remain safe or risk everything for love, memory, and humanity.
A powerful ensemble piece, The Giver explores themes of individuality, responsibility, and what it truly means to be human.
