About the Show

The Trail to Oregon by Team Starkid is a fast-paced, irreverent musical comedy inspired by the classic computer game.

Set on the Oregon Trail, the show follows a family determined to survive dysentery, bandits, broken wagon wheels—and each other. Loud, ridiculous, heartfelt, and unapologetically theatrical, this musical thrives on heightened comedy, intentional chaos, and fearless performers who are fully committed to the bit.

Strong comic instincts, musical flexibility, direct audience engagement, and ensemble awareness are essential. Performers should be prepared to go big, embrace the absurd, and collaborate in a joyfully chaotic storytelling style.
