Theatre Camp Scholarship

GBT Camp scholarship is available to anyone (ages 8-18) enrolled in a public school, private school, or home school in the area. It provides an opportunity for a young theatrical person to attend GBT theatre camps at the Gaslight-Baker Theatre in Lockhart.

The actor will also perform in the final production of that workshop under the bright lights, with professional expectations, and a live audience open to the public.

How to Apply

The student should submit a letter stating:

• What spurred my interest in the theater
• What I hope to Learn
• What aspect of the theater is of most interest
• Why I should be the recipient

A recommendation from a teacher or an adult that has seen the talent, interest, and desire of the student applying would be beneficial. If the student has prior experience with a theater group, please explain in detail.
