Gaslight-Baker Theatre is thrilled to announce auditions for The Rocky Horror Show — the outrageously fun, gender-bending rock musical that’s become a cult phenomenon. Directed by Doug DeGirolamo, this bold, electric production will light up the stage just in time for spooky season… and we want YOU to join the madness.

Whether you’re a seasoned performer or just looking for an unforgettable way to let your freak flag fly, we invite you to bring your energy, edge, and charisma to the audition room. This is your chance to embody iconic characters like Frank-N-Furter, Janet, Brad, Riff Raff, Magenta, and the whole eccentric cast in this musical celebration of individuality, liberation, and sci-fi camp.

🎭 AUDITION DETAILS

Dates:
July 15, 16, or 17
Time: 7:00–10:00 PM (Please arrive by 6:45 PM)
Location: Gaslight-Baker Theatre
216 S. Main St., Lockhart, TX

You only need to attend ONE night of auditions.

🎶 WHAT TO PREPARE

  • A 45-second vocal cut from a song that shows your voice and personality. Bring a track (YouTube or MP3 format preferred). No a cappella auditions, please.

  • Come dressed to move! Auditions will include singing, dancing, and cold readings from the script.

  • Bring water and your boldest self.

  • All auditioners must be 18 years or older.

This is a non-paying, community theatre production open to performers of all experience levels and backgrounds.

📅 PERFORMANCE DATES

Mark your calendars — The Rocky Horror Show will run:

  • October 10–12

  • October 17–19

  • October 24–26
    💀 Plus: A special late-night Halloween performance on October 31

Rehearsals will begin shortly after casting and will be held in the evenings and on weekends. A detailed schedule will be provided at callbacks.
