2024 Summer Musical Camp Information
Calling all Musical Theatre Kids! Join us for our one-week camp for 7- to 16-year-olds will train students in all aspects of staging a musical. It will culminate in a public performance the Saturday after camp of an original by Tifani Pust: America: The Musical! A Dreamy Revue of Broadway’s Golden Era.
Camp Details
The camp runs from July 15-19 9am-4:30 M-F PERFORMANCE July 20th at 1:00pm. Campers will audition for roles in the show. All students who register to be in the camp must audition, and all who audition will be cast.
Each day of camp will have a similar schedule: mornings will be devoted to building theatrical and technical skills, including:
-acting, with an emphasis on expression and articulation
-physical control, posture and poise training
-choreography
-singing
After lunch, campers will focus their work on assembling the show for public performance. This work will include, among other activities:
-line memorization
-scene development
-group choral singing and movement
-character and acting development
-self awareness, teamwork, collaboration
Camp Instructors
All of this work will be led by our Lamp Lighters’ professional theater instructors: Tifani Pust and Denise Riendeau. They will create a fun, safe, and work-focused environment that encourages campers imagination and creativity. Classes will build theatrical skills, increase attention, focus, and self-confidence, develop cooperative skills and instill peer respect and empathy.

Camp Tuition
The cost is $275 if registered before May 1st, 2024. We offer a discount for full a $50 discount for siblings. Scholarships are also available. Please see scholarship requirements here.
